In a March 24, 2026 article by reporter Caroline Kimeu, The Wall Street Journal analyzed how the Trump Administration’s travel bans have significantly disrupted the educational opportunities of students from African countries. Of the 39 countries on President Trump's travel ban list, 27 are in Africa.
